As part of this private universe project I've designed a flag for the political entity that ruled Earth at the time of the Yellowstone Supervolcano eruption of 2189.
I'm also thinking of starting the campaign in Private Universe Mk II in the year 2150.

I, too, used a Yellowstone Caldera event IMTU, along with a cometary event, to make Terra less firma and to get all the riffraff off the Marble.

A Wyoming Caldera eruption is an ELE - Extinction Level Event. It won't just get the "riffraff off the marble", it will kill almost everything..
That was the idea.
I wanted the colony worlds to build navies and pocket empires without the 800 ton gorilla of Earth interfering. Thus the extinction event.
